The dirt-poor squatter village of Tanza is a place familiar with hunger and neglect.
First Love's new feeding program in Tanza is providing free meals and children's programs to the village. It is also providing a platform for the gospel to be preached as people see Christ's love demonstrated and proclaimed.
news (thailand) - Literacy for little ones
For many of the poor Moken (sea gypsy) children of Thailand, learning to read and write is almost impossible. Despite living in the country their whole lives, these children often don't officially exist in the eyes of the government -- or the schools.
First Love is stepping into the lives of some of these children by teaching basic literacy, with the hopes of getting them into the public school system.
