Update from First Love Staff:
While in Thailand, we also visited Somsee (right, in photo to left), the widow who previously lived in a shack built over an open sewer.
We met in the new home which (through the generosity of our partners) we helped provide for her a couple of years ago. Despite the fact that Somsee has little money, she bought bottles of drinking water for each member of the team. We were all touched when she expressed her gratitude for the house and the love which was (and continues to be) shown to her and her children.
hopes to help this precious little girl get the documents that would be necessary for her to go to school with the other children.
Please remember to pray for the Moken children and Pia. Pray also that Pia is able to locate a reasonably priced parcel of land on which we can eventually build a ministry center.
